Throughout my life, I traveled the world. This passion for exotic places has always fueled my creative artistry.
In South America I developed a unique style of impressionist batik art. I use modern dyes and tools that were hand-crafted for me in Indonesia. My art blends a water color style that uses hot wax as a mask to make unique textures. I create abstract and impressionist paintings with a variety of exciting color combinations and textures.
My paintings are gallery wrapped, stretched on heavy duty stretcher bars and sealed with polycrylic. The sides are finished and is not necessary to frame them.
I am currently artist in residence at the
Gecko Gallery, Chicken Farm Art Center
in San Angelo, TX.
